Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: Water, Barley Malt, Hops & Hop extract.
Sold as Münchner Hell in Germany, München in the UK and Premium in North America.
This beer is our speciality. In 1894 Spaten became the first brewery in Munich to produce this brand of light lager. Golden in color with a well-balanced hop-flavor. The full rounded body is a superb balance between hops and a malty sweetness.

draught a Max’s Allegheny Inn - Not a bad beer but a bit light for a German brewed beer, I’ve had more body and malt flavor in other lagers - some made in America. Nice brisk hoppy finish

bottle; golden hue with an egg white head, above avg in volume. aroma not too skunky. it seems to be what heine wishes it was. undertones of domestic grasses and bright fruit. kudos on the former two. taste yields a mirror image to the aroma, but adds by a pleasant floral taste, as well as lively hops, but nowhere near overpowering. it’s a pleasant grilling-out beer, for its style. the malts are rather sugar-ish. all in all, good normal beer.

Sweet malty skunk aroma. Pours a light gold color. Flavor is mostly crisp somewhat metallic. Mildly sweet. Not alot going on here, but again, I was on the crisp lager kind of thing today. A little dry too.

Bottle, Pizza Shoppe KCMO. Poured into .5L Spaten glass, nice touch! Pour is clear golden with a big white head. Not much aroma, but what is there is bright hops. Taste is pretty straight forward, finishes quick with not much jumping out. Pretty blah, overall.
