Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: Water, Barley Malt, Hops & Hop extract.
Sold as Münchner Hell in Germany, München in the UK and Premium in North America.
This beer is our speciality. In 1894 Spaten became the first brewery in Munich to produce this brand of light lager. Golden in color with a well-balanced hop-flavor. The full rounded body is a superb balance between hops and a malty sweetness.

Rated 2004-05-09. Golden, medium white head which lowers slowly, tiny lace. Fruity, slightly flowery and sweet aroma. Light to medium bodied. Flowery, malty, hoppy and grassy flavor. Dry, medium length finish. Nothing special in this lager.

Bottle. Not much head and what it had dissipated quickly. Slightly skunky smell. Smooth taste, clean and crisp. A better version of Heineken, perhaps. The taste grows on you and you could definitely drink a bunch of these.

Pale golden with medium sized carb bubbles and a reasonably sized creamy white head. Some mealy biscuit maltiness and some faint grassy hops. Rather neutral flavour initially, although the sweetness does seem to pile up and get a bit too much. Light to medium bodied with a nice carbonation level. Started off okay but it was one of those beers that fell more out of favour with every mouthfull.

Bottle 33o ml. Nice taste and Golden color. The Flavor is a little more strong than some Brazilian Lager beer.

Pours golden and quite clear. Malty aroma balanced with some hops. Quite strong body also. A bulk beer but better and tastier than for example most finnish bulk lagers.

Pour is a light clear gold with a white head. Aroma of hops, a little malt, and some skunk. Flavor is pretty much the same, hops, malt ,and some skunk. Pretty standard lager.

For a lager, this was definatly better than average. Clear, pale appearance with a slight hop in the taste.

Bottle, 50 cl. Clear golden, medium fluffy white head. Bready, somewhat grainy malt aroma, with a slight roated or toffeish touch, and some faint hop notes. Medium bodied, decent mouthfeel. Some initial sweetness is well taken care of by a moderate but distinctive bitterness.
