Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: Water, Barley Malt, Hops & Hop extract.
Sold as Münchner Hell in Germany, München in the UK and Premium in North America.
This beer is our speciality. In 1894 Spaten became the first brewery in Munich to produce this brand of light lager. Golden in color with a well-balanced hop-flavor. The full rounded body is a superb balance between hops and a malty sweetness.

Bottle. Pale yellow color, white head that dissipated quickly. Aroma of corn, spice, taste is thin, smooth with a clean finish. Easy to drink.

Bright amber, generous white head. Surprisingly bitter and grainy to begin with, followed by a waft of vanilla-popcorn creaminess in the afternose. An accomplished hoppy-malty balance.

Pours light yellow with a short lived head. Tasted like a good heineken, which means it wasn’t so good. I was very disapointed with this beer since I had their oktoberfest first and liked it a lot.

Smooth. but not exceptional. Light yellow, straw color with a slightly malty aroma. Tastes more ile a pilsner than a lager.

Bland. Sweetish with no hops and not even much grain flavor. I won’t buy again.

This had hardly any aroma.Small head.Color light straw. It tasted rather bland.Had that golden beer taste that I hate, although it was not strong.Good beer for Germans, but NOT Americans!Ha!Ha!Actually,it would be good for the average beer drinker, who doesn’t know the really good stuff.

Bottle. The flavor has a bit of malt, but not much else. Easy to drink but nothing special.
