Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: Water, Barley Malt, Hops & Hop extract.
Sold as Münchner Hell in Germany, München in the UK and Premium in North America.
This beer is our speciality. In 1894 Spaten became the first brewery in Munich to produce this brand of light lager. Golden in color with a well-balanced hop-flavor. The full rounded body is a superb balance between hops and a malty sweetness.

Small head, golden clear body. Nice hop aroma, suttle sweetness balancing it out. Very light on flavor but good. Nothing off except for very little carbonation which doesn’t seem right.

No too bad. Except the beer label reminded me of someone taken a shit. It was okay.

Not bad for a lager. Has a think mouth feel. Malty and possibly a bit sweet. Very clear with frothy head.

Pours pale golden w/ a medium spritzy froth. Aroma is weak and malted, w/ a burnt caramel goin’ ons. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. Flavors are crisp w/ a nice balanced maltiness. I detect a slight metalic nuance that is only briefly offensive. Theres a bit of a burnt caramel garter going on in the nose and flavor. Overall: I’m not digging it. Kinda funky.

On tap at Pocono Brewing Co. Poured a slighlty cloudy gold with a quickly disappearing white head. Light, indistict aroma. Flavor is slightly sweet along with some hops bitterness. Overall an ok beer but I was expecting more.

As near to a perfect balance between hops and malt as ever encountered. Goes down ever so nicely, leaves no unpleasant aftertaste, and overall a splendid brew.
