Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle this foul crap poured a pale golden color with a small white head. The aroma is extremely foul skunk. I wish I could give 0 points for this malodorous mess. The flavor is a hint of light malts and pure skunk juice right from the beast’s ass. The skunkiest beer I have ever encountered. Total absolute crap. GG (1660), NorCal, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 16, 2006 You really can’t beat the quality of the beer for the price you pay. Aroma is really nice with typical grassy hops notes and slightly sweet. Appearance is light gold in color, nice head. Mouthfeel is light and clean. Flavors were fairly average with said grassy notes with some sweet malt to it too. Very clean finish, no aftertaste at all. Nice refreshing beer that I can usually find for about $5.99/6-pack. alafito (334), tijuana, Mexico

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 1/5 | 12/20 | Aug 5, 2006 I think this is the right beer... the label just says Spaten Premium and in small letters says "malt liquor". Light yellow body with quarter inch off-white head. Mells hoppy and yeasty. Does not taste like much really. Hops are present, as well as some malt. Alcohol is also presnt somewhat. Not too keen on this one. It’s definitely more flavorful than the American macro lagers, and if you have to choose between this and them, choose this. That having been said, it’s not something I’d seek out. AmazonMatt (285), Panama
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 1, 2006 I was very pleased with this beer, here in Panama. It is what it is, and it is a good beer to go with a meal, especially a spice meal here in Panama where it is hot. It pours clean with a nice large head, and a clear straw yellow color. It is fresh and dry on the palate, with enough complexity to be enjoyable but not so much that it competes with food. It wasnt sweet or cloying, and I could have had more than one, and there were no off flavors. It isn’t a special craft beer to ponder over, but it is the current king of beers available in Panama...go to Riba Smith grocers. OldMrCrow (1200), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 11, 2006 From the bottle for a rather unworthy rating #400.
Pours a light gold with a moderate head; the aroma is sweet malt and a bit of crisp hops. The flavor is grainy, some cookie malt, laid-back hops.
Drinkable but not special. Ibrew2or3 (2766), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 6, 2006 Crystal clear golden color with white head. Aroma is yeasty, a bit skunky, malty and a hint of the noble hops. Overall this beer is mild in flavor. Taste starts off a bit sweet and grainy. There is also a light crisp hop spiciness. The finish leaves a nice grainy maltiness. Light refreshing brew for those hot summer days. agl108 (509), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 4, 2006 On draft Flat Rock Saloon. Pours a clear gold with white head that quickly dissipated. Bready nose with candi sugar also prevalent. Sweet, malty flavor with a high level of carbonation. Crisp and smooth.
