First time I’ve spotted this number. Good fluffy head with nice lacing. The smell is light on malty beeriness, but there is a nice spicy hop chracter. Taste is to match, quite crisp, and I think I can tell from the lighter hop load that it’s a Munich style. Refreshing beer, light on maltiness, but that just helps invite a second round. Crisp, and for someone like me who isn’t a huge fan of lagers, this one is one I’d drink. DanielBrown (1919), Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, England

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 2, 2006 Aroma is light with only slight traces of sweet maltyness and faint traces of hops. Looks are pretty average but the head last a little longer and the beer has more lacings then normal, so in fact appearance is above average. The taste is very good. It has a sweet malty taste with not very much bitterness, and is pleasantly drinkable – even in large quantities. Mouth feel is again pleasant and smooth, no way as bitter as some north German lagers. Overall a superb lager that stands head and shoulder above the vast crowd of European lagers.

Dry grassy hops to finish. Slight graininess lingers after the finish. Overall well balanced and easy to drink. Comes across nicely for a lager type beer. ehhdayton (1115), USA
