Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: Water, Barley Malt, Hops & Hop extract.
Sold as Münchner Hell in Germany, München in the UK and Premium in North America.
This beer is our speciality. In 1894 Spaten became the first brewery in Munich to produce this brand of light lager. Golden in color with a well-balanced hop-flavor. The full rounded body is a superb balance between hops and a malty sweetness.

Pours a large white head of foam. Pale yellow appearence. You can smell the barley in the aroma. The taste not to overpowering and does not leave an aftertaste.

Drank tons of this stuff back in high school and was pleased to enjoy some again furing a backyard cook out. A gold colored and slightly hoppy tasteing helles. Yes it is a bit watery but just enough carbination for what i needed it for

Split with curly at woody’s. Pours a very clear very pale yellow with small ring of white head. Corn, skunk, grass nose. Same flavor. It is great for a skunky green bottle beer. If that’s what you’re in the mood for.

Draught at Bavarian Bier Cafe, Manly. Pretty horrid stuff after you’ve been drinking a few better beers on the day. I had this while waiting for a ferry back to the city. It wasn’t bad for cleaning the palate but i struggled to finish the glass (and the reason being a very over priced beer so I wasn’t gonna waste any)! Perhaps it tastes better in the homeland but I doubt it.

On tap at the Beechtree. Pours a light hazy yellow with a thin white head. Smells mostly of grain, with a hint of plum. Thin body, grainy. Finishes dry and with even more grain. Not so tasty.

Bottle 50 CL, as München. Apperance; Yello, clear with a small white head. A sweet, malty, butter/oil aroma. A malty flavor with a light bitter ending.

Golden in color. A faint aroma of malt. A taste of sweet malt. Also has a sweet finish. Quite easy to drink.

Bottle. Clear, golden, not much head. Little aroma, tastes slightly spicy with a sweet corn flavour. Feels a bit foamy in the mouth.
