Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: Water, Barley Malt, Hops & Hop extract.
Sold as Münchner Hell in Germany, München in the UK and Premium in North America.
This beer is our speciality. In 1894 Spaten became the first brewery in Munich to produce this brand of light lager. Golden in color with a well-balanced hop-flavor. The full rounded body is a superb balance between hops and a malty sweetness.

Golden light body; white average head quickly vanishing; large bubbles of average density. Intense malty aroma with moderate herbal notes. Intense sweet malty flavour at the beginning that is later partially balanced by a moderate hoppy bitterness. Light to medium body; lively carbonation; chalky feeling in the finish. Light, with an intense aroma (even if not complex) and sweet notes that make it a beer above the average of lager beers.

Pours a ;ight-medium golden color with a big frothy whiye head. Nose mostly of hops, maybe a hint of apple as well. Very smooth on the palate. A nice lager.

Very large head, clear, but bubbly. Standard lager aroma. Very smooth, creamy palate. Lightly sour. Appart from the aroma, much superior to most stanard lagers. I recommend this beer.

Pale golden body, minimal to no head. Typical lager taste, though not the corn typical in mass-market lagers. Cornish ending, slightly bitter.

This was a steal the glass night at Capital Ale House in Richmond, Va. The beer was delivereed in a ceramic mug so aspects of the beer were not observed. The color was a straw color. It was beer with balance hops and malt. It was an enjoyable beverage that is better than Heinken.

Tap at Richos: Pours nice golden yellow with medium white head and a fair amount of carbonation. Slightly malty aroma with a slight hint of bitterness. Good example of a light golden lager
