Commercial Description:
Bottle: Filtered.
Ingredients: Water, Barley Malt, Hops & Hop extract.
Sold as Münchner Hell in Germany, München in the UK and Premium in North America.
This beer is our speciality. In 1894 Spaten became the first brewery in Munich to produce this brand of light lager. Golden in color with a well-balanced hop-flavor. The full rounded body is a superb balance between hops and a malty sweetness.

Tap at Richos: Pours nice golden yellow with medium white head and a fair amount of carbonation. Slightly malty aroma with a slight hint of bitterness. Good example of a light golden lager

Medium gold with a medium white head that laces the glass as you drink, and lots of bubbles. Aroma is malty and the flavor is malty with a tiny hnt not of bitterness but sourness. A little bitterness is found in it’s aftertaste.

Fizzy yellow. Typical looking lager. However, tastes better then most. Second to Paulaner. For pale lagers macrobreweries I mostly like the German lagers. Not a fan of other macros such as Heineken, Bud and the like. Nice bitter finish. Good German beer.

Pours a golden yellow with white head. Aroma of malt with a very faint hoppiness. Flavor is a well-balanced blend of malt and hops with a underlying sweetness. Crisp finish.

Clear gold w/ a big white puffy head. Nice crisp spicy finish. I was plesantly surprised. 36 rating seems a tad low. Good brew when I feel like putting a few back.

I’m drinking this beer from a can that has 1 Gallon, 1 Qt,, 9 FL. OZ. printed on it. That’s right it is a mini keg. I am dispensing it into a 22 oz. pilsner glass that I got from The Crab House in Orlando, FL. It has a pale golden color that is absolutely clear. It has a malty smell with some hop notes barely noticeable to the nose. There is a light malt flavor no hint of the hops. It might be said that the hops and malt balance each other. It is light and smooth. This is a beer you can drink all day which is good considering how much of it I have! Think I’ll sit here and catch up on some other reviews.
