Second to Paulaner. For pale lagers macrobreweries I mostly like the German lagers. Not a fan of other macros such as Heineken, Bud and the like. Nice bitter finish. Good German beer. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 8, 2006 I’m drinking this beer from a can that has 1 Gallon, 1 Qt,, 9 FL. OZ. printed on it. That’s right it is a mini keg. I am dispensing it into a 22 oz. pilsner glass that I got from The Crab House in Orlando, FL.
It has a pale golden color that is absolutely clear. It has a malty smell with some hop notes barely noticeable to the nose.
There is a light malt flavor no hint of the hops. It might be said that the hops and malt balance each other.
It is light and smooth. This is a beer you can drink all day which is good considering how much of it I have! Think I’ll sit here and catch up on some other reviews.
