Apr 16, 2009 500ml bottle. A clear pale yellow beer with a large white head. Unremarkable nose of grainy malt sweetness with a tiny amount of floral hops. The taste is mainly sweet malt with quite a sweet finish and a touch of metal at the end which rather lets it down. Medium-light bodied with easy-going mouthfeel. Refreshing and sessionable but nothing to write home about.

Apr 6, 2009 This is a great tasting beer. My first time drinking it was this weekend and I’ll put it in my top 5 beers. A golden, hint of sweetness but not overpowering, smooth tasting, crisp beer. A good summer quencher.

Apr 6, 2009 one of my top ten; very light and clear, this beer pours well and leaves a decent head. unique aroma (somewhat citrusey) with a mild hops flavor and a hint of lemon. very well balanced beer.

clear yellow, thick creamy, almost oily wihte head. very faint aroma that is slightly citrussy and slightly sweet.
flavor is slightly hoppy, slighlty sweet, easy-drinker , refreshing. alc. well proportinoed to taste. it’s nothing special really, but quite tasty.

Mar 29, 2009 Pours with a dark gold hue with a non-existing head. Aroma is of grain, urine, with lots of yeast and bread.
Flavor has a yeasty beginning with a slightly sweet and hoppy ending. The Yeastiness of the beer in the beginning overshadows the hoppy finish in my opinion.
Light mouthfeel with light carbonation.

Mar 17, 2009 Pours a pale gold color, with a small off white head. Smells of crisp grain, really mild hops, and cinnamon malt. Nothing special here. The taste was more malt than anything with traces of grain and corn. Really didnt have that great of flavor. a bit of cinnamon sweetness was left in the finish, but really not that great drinking. Id need to drink it ice cold while mowing my lawn.

Mar 15, 2009 This beer is our speciality. In 1894 Spaten became the first brewery in Munich to produce this brand of light lager. Golden in color with a well-balanced hop-flavor. The full rounded body is a superb balance between hops and a malty sweetness.

Mar 14, 2009 On tap. Aroma is slightly grassy. Light gold in color with a small white head. Flavor is well balanced with sweet malt and mildly bitter hops. Crisp and bubbly, a very easy drinking beer.
