Sep 4, 2008 (draft): Pours a brownish body. Small white head, creamy. Malty aroma, somel acidity. Sourish almost. Dusty malty taste.

Sep 4, 2008 (Bottle). Malty yeast aroma. Dark amber color, small head. Taste is slightly sweet, malty and caramel, with a surprisingly long malty finish and just a touch of bitter hops. Delicious.

Sep 3, 2008 Updated: Sep 5, 2008pours amber brown with a light off-white head. nose heavy of caramel malt, bread dough, and light fruit/ citrus. flavor is well-balanced caramel hops and floral hops. earthy, bready, caramel, coppery tinge. aftertaste is malty, just a hint of bitterness, and draws out nicely. lightly carbonated. goes down easy making it an exceptional session beer.

Sep 2, 2008 One of my favorite Oktoberfests for this time of year. A strong, malty aroma with just enough hops and perhaps even lager crispness to temper it. The flavor is rich, malty, crisp, and assertive. Enough hops to give it a nice noble hop character, but not to overpower the maltiness. I definitely prefer this to the Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest.

Sep 1, 2008 (German) Courtesy of AFI96, thanks Waylo !!! Pours a dark amber color with a sm-white head. The aroma is malty with caramel, grains, and raisins. The taste is of malts, pepper, spices, and a hint of hops. This was a pretty good oktoberfest brew !!!

Sep 1, 2008 Bottle. Amber pour with a creamy head and creamy body. Malty but with a hop presence. Slightly flowery. Sweet, and I swear I always taste mild pumpkin bread. Perhaps because this was my first Oktoberfest many years ago, this is the standard, even if not the best. Very solid, though.

Sep 1, 2008 A crisp and refreshing lager, with color. Not much more stood out than that. I guess if you are going to drink this for an entire week, this wouldn’t do too much damage.
