Amber in color. This medium bodied beer has achieved its impeccable taste by balancing the roasted malt flavor with the perfect amount of hops. Having a rich textured palate with an underlying sweetness true to tradition.

Brownish-amber pour from a bottle. Smell of sweet malt. Taste was also on the sweet side, but had a hint of spice.

GREAT beer, especially if you can find it on draft. Blows Spaten lager out of the water. Very well balanced.

Draft at Flying Saucer Nashville. Pours deep amber with an off white head. Bread and caramel aroma. Flavor of caramel, sweet bread, maple, and dark fruit. Moderate amount of residual sweetness. Finish has a balancing spicy bitterness and some toasty grains. Transitions were a tad bumpy, but still solid. Not as smooth and quaffable as Paulaner.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a amber/orange/copper color with small head. Light malty aroma, with an almost metallic smell. Dissipated with warming, could’ve been initial temperature (too cold). Had a grain/bread taste to it, that improved as you drank more.

refreshing sllck and sweet. mild carbonation does not make this easy with many foods. light citrus and spicy clove unbalanced to my liking. but then... i am an unbalanced fool! it is a good beer in and of itself. good caramel type malt and full yeasty body while still keepng refreshment. a touch watery feel keeps this respectable year round.

Pours (on tap) an amber color with slight head. Nice malty aroma. Not what I expected, a little bitter compared to the other Marzen’s I’ve had, not bad but not my favorite.
