Pours brownish amber with medium sized frothy white head. Aroma is bread and honey with a touch of vinousness. Clean flavor is dominated by toasty malt flavors, a hint of honey-like sweetness and muskiness along with light grassy hops and a touch of bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite a nice brew.

Bottled. Beer is dark medium-brown with a small, white, frothy, mostly and quickly diminishing head.
The aroma is malty with moderate notes of toasted grain, toasted bread crust; Hoppy with light /moderate notes of lemon zest, resinous herb; Yeasty with a trace note of dough; Light miscellaneous note of tropical fruit/peach juice.
The flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter with a long, warmish, lightly bittersweet, trace acidic finish.
The body is medium, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively.
Pleasant.

Would have rated higher if it wasn’t as skunky...MAN that smell really kills Beers for me...I’m thinking it was old AND light struck it all day long for months..lol...I just don’t wanna believe Sam Adam’s version is better than this...
