Detached malty scent, light metallic on the end. Slightly dry, little lively taste. Determined alcohol and malty notes on the end. Lightly watery. Papsoe (14996), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Very soft mouthfeel, but otherwise this is all malt - lovely, sweet malt with only a moderate bitterness. A wee hint of metal. But overall a very pleasant brew. 100600 Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 25, 2005 Bottle: Light golden coloured, thin fluffy layer; shy malty nose, traces of fruitiness (citrus), traces of cardboard too; sweetish start, fruity (honey) malty taste, sweetish flavour, some very light bitterness in the short finish. O.K., but not overwhelming at all....... lagermonkey (597), Marietta, Georgia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 11, 2005 Pours a clear brownish-copper with a light tan 1/4 inch head. Lots of fine lacing. Smells sweet and lighlty malty. A bit grassy like fresh hay and lightly sour. Taste is grassy up front followed by caramel malt. Fruity with a floral hoppy finish. Mouth is a good balance. Lightly crisp and lightly malty. It’s not bad and damn drinkable. Really smooth and satisfying even though it is not an outstanding Oktoberfest. A solid choice for a session brew this season.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 11, 2005 Quaffable German Oktoberfestbier. Poured a pale brown colour with a lasting moderate head. Gorgeous nose bursting with aromatic hops. Smelled fresh and inviting. Creamy palate and very smooth. Delicate malty body with hay-like hop notes. Marred by a slight chalkiness in the finish - sample may have been past its best. Otherwise excellent. (Bottle) yayforbeer (647), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 16, 2005 A decent and drinkable example of oktoberfest, but has a few rough lager edges. I liked the Hacker-Pschorr and the Paulaner versions better.
