Commercial Description:
This is the German version of the beer, described by Jackson in the 2000 Pocket Beer Book as "much paler (than Oktoberfest-Marzen in the US), golden, albeit still with a creamy aroma and pleasant malt accent."

A decent and drinkable example of oktoberfest, but has a few rough lager edges. I liked the Hacker-Pschorr and the Paulaner versions better.

malts without being sweet, and drinkable. Some bitterness in finish for aftertaste. Thin to medium mouthfeel. Light colour. Grassy herbal. Palate cleaner. Complements of Raymond at Abbey Brewing in Miami Beach, where they very suitably carbonate.

One of the best examples of Oktoberfestbier out there. Don’t pass this one up- creamy, slightly sweet and bitter. Great brew.

Very little aroma noticed. Thin head. Light brown, slightly hazy color. The taste had a nice taste of hops and malts.

This is a very good lager. It good notes of aroma hops which isn’t very common in traditinal european lagers. More similar to czech beers than other german lager I have tried. My favourite german lager...

Bottle - 500ml. Limpid gold body topped with a nice foamy head. Decent and well-balanced malty/hoppy aroma with flowery notes. Taste has some character and hides the alcohol pretty well. Not extraordinary, but quite drinkable.

I found it thin and unvenetful, it has the required malt overtones. A clean brew but nothing special

Golden-orange color. Decent durable off-white head. Sweet, malty bready aroma. Flavor sweet and toasty, minimal hop contribution. Has some nutty flavors in the background. Overall a bit thin on the palate and flavors seem to fade quite quickly, but has a very clean refreshing finish. An average German Oktoberfest.
