Commercial Description:
This is the German version of the beer, described by Jackson in the 2000 Pocket Beer Book as "much paler (than Oktoberfest-Marzen in the US), golden, albeit still with a creamy aroma and pleasant malt accent."

The aroma is brewmashy. The color is golden and it has a beutiful lasting head. The flavor is sweet and malty with notes of spices and alcohol. But it is very simple - so in my book it is a boring strong lager. I’d hoped for something a lot better.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pilsener golden with a decent, white head. Very soft mouthfeel, but otherwise this is all malt - lovely, sweet malt with only a moderate bitterness. A wee hint of metal. But overall a very pleasant brew. 100600

50 cL bottle. Pours clear yellow with a lacing white head. Cornish and slight bitter aroma. Flavour is dry and cornish with a vague spice note and mild cornish base flavour. Lingering malty finish.

Deep golden. Velvetty soft mouthfeel, richly malty, still not sweet. It has that filling creaminess only encountered in the better oktoberfest beers in Bavaria. A beer I long for all summer.

Bottle. Acidic and slightly malty aroma. Golden colour. Has a beautiful, big, stable white head. Quite malty, a little sweet flavour, and a little acidic. Aftertaste is unfortunately hoppy in a way that reminds me of cheap lager. Good body with a nicely mild carbonation.

Bottled. Pale golden colour, small white bubbly head. Malts and hops in aroma. Flavour is smooth of malts and hops. Long sweetish aftertaste. Very wellbalanced. Quite biting carbonation.
