Like drinking caramel syrup... sweet sugary and thick. Ultra smooth body, creamy with some burnt aftertastes. Medium body with soft carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. kwerikson (61), burlington, New Jersey, USA Oct 23, 2009 pours out clear brown and semi thick with an offwhite bubbly head that fell really fast. the body is dark maroon ruby with very litlle bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass with no lacing at all. the aromas are that of caramel and butter scotch with a nice roasty scent to it. the flavours are definate roasted caramel and toffee. the mouthfeel is medium bodied with very moderate sutel carbonation with no aftertaste and soft on the palate. nice winter beer to drink on a cold day. rader58 (164), Leawood, Kansas, USA Oct 22, 2009 Pours a deep dark brown color with reddish hues. Aroma of toasted grain and malt. Flavor is of roasted grain/malt with a hint of sweet chocolate. Has an almost creamy texture. Quite good.
