| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 28, 2009 Deep brown color, sudsy head, lacing, smells like honey covered oats, honey wheat bread, smells very good. The flavor is full on malts, possibly fruity raisins, bready. Overall this is a decent dopple but it smells a lot better than it tastes but who can complain for $2.49?

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 27, 2009 Bottle at hideaway bar. Incredibly sweet, bold caramel malty taste. Also tastes pretty strong, even though it’s not. Pretty good for something that’s really easy to find. bblack99 (202), Kansas City, Missouri, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 26, 2009 Bottle pours a clear reddish-brown with a large, quickly-thinning, fizzy head. Very little aroma, sweet taste with a long aftertaste of bittersweet caramel.
Not particularly interesting, but not bad for a simple pure beer.
