Taste was, again, hard on the caramel with some nice malts and a little alcohol coming through. Nothing spectacular coming through, but extremely solid nonetheless. The nose is dark fruits and caramel malts. Taste is prunes, molasses, caramel and burnt brown sugar with light hops in the finish. Medium, semi-creamy mouth feel. A touch sweet for me but this is a well put together beer. Birdiebeagle (788), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA
