Nov 18, 2000 I’m not huge on this beer. It’s all right, but it lacks the stylishness that makes doppelbocks like Celebrator or Andechs so amazing.

May 2, 2006 a sim rate: (bottled from D’Agostino’s NYC) Smells like sour feet (thanks suture for pinning down that smell). Tastes very sour and strong. Bitter, licquoricy aftertaste. Not particularly pleasant.
