Hermod (245), Vantaa, Finland Oct 7, 2009 Tap @Rymy-Eetu, Helsinki. Clear golden, with white head. very easy to drink, very light, malty, bitter finish. Above average beer. TheCaptain (526), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 21, 2009 On tap and in bottle. Poured a honey gold with white foam head, thin lacing. Crisp hops on the nose. Light on the palate with a clean dry hop flavor. Good fest beer with easy drinkability. Travlr (694), Washington, Washington DC, USA Sep 19, 2009 Golden yellow with white head. Aroma of malt and pepper. Somewhat lighter than a typical pilsner. Nice bitter edge and finish, but not much complexity overall. sirPino (855), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland Sep 13, 2009 No 826

Bottle brown, 500 ml.
Appearance: Pours perfectly clear, bright golden, soft and lively carbonated body, really inviting, clean and beautiful, head is initially medium, slowly decreasing to minimal and than completely disappearing but leaving gentle lacing, head is foamy in texture, slightly greyish white in colour.
Aroma: In fact typical for a Classic German Pilsener, notes of bitter grapefruit seeds and spicy, peppery oriented hoppyness, chalk and some barley malt at the background, generally the aroma is considerably too weak and not that bold as it should be in the caes of a good Pilsener, weak but quite noble.
Flavour: Very nice and pleasant strong bitterness, really sharp hoppyness but hoppy profile is definitely focused on bitterness not on the aromatic impression, nice soft water base, highly mineral, strong bitterness, finish duration is long.
Palate: Body is light, texture is dry, carbonation on the palate is moderate, finish feel is clean, slightly malty but primarly sharply bitter.
TomDecapolis (3124), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 11, 2009 Tap at The Rising Sun. Pours a clear golden with a smaller bubbly white head. Aroma of bready malt, light skunkiness, some citrus and noble hop notes. Flavor is pilsner malt, some lighter noble hop notes and rather crisp. FunkyBrewster (435), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 20, 2009 Thanks 17thfloor! Pours a nice clear golden with a thick lingering white head. Aroma is nice crisp grassy hops with a nice clean malt backbone. Floral and just a bit sweet. Flavor starts with a big clean malt character that remains throughout, over the grassy hops and malty body. Nice dry finish that it just a bit bitter. Medium body and a tingling carbonation. Really nicely done German pilsner, easy drinking refreshing but filling. ChainGangGuy (2522), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Aug 12, 2009 16 ounce pint - $5.50 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Served up a clear, deep yellow body with a smallish, white head.
Smell: The characteristic grassy, spicy touch of traditional German hops backed by a scent of grainy pilsner malts and scant hint of lemon.
Taste: Sweetish, grainy pilsner malts -- actually, make that particularly grainy. Modest background hint of basic lemon. Sharply spicy, grassy Noble hops with a moderate amount of bitterness that remains on-hand until the dry, lightly effervescent finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-high carbonation.
Drinkability: As it should be, it’s a crisp, clean German Pilsner that’s pretty easy to quaff down at record speed. after4ever (2711), Brier, Washington, USA Aug 12, 2009 Draft at Uber. Sooooo frustrating to try and think of something to say about these vacant little crowd pleaser pilseners. Crystal clear pale gold, a little bit of carb showing, a fairly attractive white creamy film on top. Pretty vacant nose. Has a little bit of grass showing on the nose and on the mid-palate. Just not much happening here; watery body, neutral finish. I’d really rather drink water under pretty much any circumstances.
