Jul 13, 2007 16.9 ounce bottle purchased at the Davis Food Co-Op. Lightly, sweet, floral, grassy hoppiness in the nose with a small amount of DMS. Pretty crisp and enjoyable aroma, though. Transparent light yellow body with a smallish whire head, which has good staying power. A nice, fine bubbly lacing is also present. Well, this is a bit sweeter than I expected to start. Light maltiness with a bit of sugariness lingering in the background throughout. Some yeast esters are in the middle. A nice mild to moderate dry, lightly bitter noble hop finish. This is pretty enjoyable. On par with Pilsner Urquell...

Jun 30, 2007 Bottle. Pours clear straw yellow with a large bubbly white head. Aroma is grassy and grainy plus the usual malty/hoppy pilsener aroma. Flavor is mild with light malt, and a light nondescript bitterness especially towards the middle and end. Very crisp mouthfeel. A well made pilsener, if not particularly noteworthy.

flavor much the same as above but this time I enjoyed the dry peppery bitterness. I found this beer light and crisp and enjoyed this Pils. I’ve been on a Pils kick lately. My tastes have changed a bit.

Jun 20, 2007 Straw blonde, rapidly settling bubbly white head, scanty lace. Grassy grainy aroma. Crisp palate with exceptional bitterness and a very dry finish. Excellent example of the true style.

Jun 19, 2007 Bottle. Poured vary pale with thin white head. Malty pilsenery aroma. Clean refeshing hoppy tate with a light body. Clean finish. This is a worthy example of a German pils and is best on a hot day.

May 20, 2007 Bottle. Clear golden pour with a bitter aroma. Smooth drinking pils with a good amount of bitter that hangs around in the aftertaste as well. No bells or whistles, but a good pilsner none the less.

May 8, 2007 From a 16oz draught. Pours a very pale, light golden color with a finger of sudsy white head. Clean, grassy hop aroma with a hint of bready malts. A little bit of herbal spice; very crisp. Light bodied, sparkling mouthfeel. Very clean, fresh, and highly drinkable with a nice bready start to the flavors. Finish is crisp and highly hopped, bringing out a satisfyingly bitter final smack. This sample was nice and fresh, making it a fine example of the style overall.
