The palate is thin and stale (might be that farmergirl-like waitress having a hard time...)

Mar 2, 2007 Not a bad beer. Sampled at Oktoberfest in San Francisco, and after a few franzekaners and Spaten Oktoberfests i was a little out of it. It pours light brown with a decent head on it. Goes down smooth.

Feb 28, 2007 Crisp hop nose, big beaded head on a pale yellow body. Pleasant hoppy taste, a little soapy and a touch sweet although I enjoyed this.

Feb 26, 2007 Updated: Jan 6, 2008Not a bad looking pour. Clear gold with a thick, foamy white head that lingered. Good lacing. The aroma was of yeasty, slightly sour hops. The flavor was sweet with a hop bite that hit early and lingered well into the aftertaste. Weird. Somewhat enjoyable although I think the Spaten Premium is a better choice.

Feb 19, 2007 Nice representation of the style. My only complaint is that the hops do almost have a musty quality to them. Other than that, it’s pretty good.
