Commercial Description:
Bottom fermented pilsner style beer. Very elegant, pale in color, dry and hoppy. Its crisp clean taste is due to the extra fine Bavarian hops.

Light amber w/ fading head. The aroma is of saaz-like hops. Flavour is crisp and malty with upfornt noblehops. Not very bitter... The palate is thin and stale (might be that farmergirl-like waitress having a hard time...)

Probably the least tasty of the Spaten I have tried, pours a mid-golden color and reminded me of a stronger Budweiser for some reason. Nothing special, i would have it again if on sale or if handed out at a party

Not a bad beer. Sampled at Oktoberfest in San Francisco, and after a few franzekaners and Spaten Oktoberfests i was a little out of it. It pours light brown with a decent head on it. Goes down smooth.

Crisp hop nose, big beaded head on a pale yellow body. Pleasant hoppy taste, a little soapy and a touch sweet although I enjoyed this.

Not a bad looking pour. Clear gold with a thick, foamy white head that lingered. Good lacing. The aroma was of yeasty, slightly sour hops. The flavor was sweet with a hop bite that hit early and lingered well into the aftertaste. Weird. Somewhat enjoyable although I think the Spaten Premium is a better choice.

Nice representation of the style. My only complaint is that the hops do almost have a musty quality to them. Other than that, it’s pretty good.

Clear yellow. Has a fine, lasting white head. Aroma of malt and dust. Flavor finish is heavy bitter.
