Very crisp and drinkable, this beer pours a lovely golden hue, has a nice musty grain aroma and a hint of citrus on the nose. The hop bitterness is classy, coming on with softly and departing with a clean finish. One of the better session pilsners. Wiseblood (658), Clarksville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 4, 2006 Yellow color, spritzy, with a faintly hoppy aroma. Mostly flowery hops and some hay, but also a bit watery. Crisp and smooth, but undistinguished. Long, bitter aftertaste. Aquilo (275), California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 12/20 | Dec 29, 2005 Has a lovely foamy head, a nice hoppy flavor, and a wonderfully smooth palate. The journey to America has taken its toll, leaving it with a bitter aftertaste and a sour aroma. Perhaps one day I will be able to try it fresh. bobarito (2), Fairbanks, Alaska, USA does not count | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 21, 2005 I had this a week ago in Munich and bought a bottle as soon as I returned to Alaska. This beer is certainly more skunked and the character is noticably different, but still delicioius. Malty smell, good hop aroma. More bitter than fresh version, but clean and delicious. shanereid (75), Portsmouth, Virginia, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Sep 2, 2005 Big-white over clear-golden, with a head that ended scummy. Perfumed aromas with grasses, taffy and roasted malt. Dry & creamy mouthfeel with herbal bitterness following light sweetness. Slight metallics in the finish. Big "mown wet grass" and roasted nuts in aftertaste.

I purchased this beer at a organic store that just opened a few months ago near my apartment. they have a decent beer selection. I saw this one knowing that i have never had it, so i thought i would make this my last rating while being an NM citizen. pours about as pale as you can get with a soapy white head and sparse lacing. grainy, sweet, aroma with some faint notes of hops in there. kinda smells like a grainy cereal. flavors are light, sweet, crisp and very simple with some subtle grainy notes. I compared this to SN summerfest and i must say, SN did a good job with that lager. simple beer here that is straight forward and refreshing. SO long New Mexico........
