Commercial Description:
Bottom fermented pilsner style beer. Very elegant, pale in color, dry and hoppy. Its crisp clean taste is due to the extra fine Bavarian hops.

beer pours a pretty straw/gold with a billowy white head that retains well and leaves good lace. aroma a nice combination of grainy malts and yeast notes (a little sulfer, some corniness (DMS)). flavor is clean and malty, with the malts having a typical European pils malt taste, which is somehow both sweet and crisp. finish is a perfect balance of sweetness and driness. nothing to get excited about, but an easy to drink beer with a charecter that just screams European Lager

Gold pour with medium head. Aroma of pale malt, floral hops, and some honey fruitiness. Tastes pale malty up front, with some hops, honey, and peach at the culmination. Smooth, crisp mouthfeel.

My favorite local beer when I was in Munich and had it on tap recently in Nashville. One of the best mass market Pils from Germany that has a nice taste and finish. Still love it after all these years.

Somewhat strong, floral Saaz nose, substatial doughy malt in there; the front end is a bit malty, slightly crisp bitterness and dirty flavor with a dry finish; good balance, and not bad for a macro

On tap at Mader’s. Clear yellow with a formidable, frothy, creamy head that accounts for about 1/5th of the beer. Smells of lemon and yeast; a pronounced pils with a slight bitter hop waft. Remarkably full-bodied on the palate. Nice bittering from Bavarian and noble hops; nearly dominating the flavor. Quite a bitter finish but I like a personality like this with a pilsener. This is one surprising pils - enjoyable, especially in a style I typically don’t particularly care for.

Thin for a Munich pils but still good for a mass market German pils in the American market. Quality control is excellent wherever it has been purchased. I always enjoy an icy half liter when I can find it. Tastewise, there is a certain "slashiness" and medium-body that plays well against each other. As a first brew for the night I would say it’s a solid choice.

Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Light hoppy and malty aroma and taste, light bitter. Medium body and a light bitter finish.
