Commercial Description:
Bottom fermented pilsner style beer. Very elegant, pale in color, dry and hoppy. Its crisp clean taste is due to the extra fine Bavarian hops.

On tap at the Red Lion, Silver Lake, Los Angeles. Excellent, full-tasting German beer. Thick, white head, some lacing. Lengthy bitter finish, compliments the smooth, crisp, sweet flavour. Thick mouthfeel, which remains light and sparkling.

Nice hoppy bite, with a smooth, crisp almost champagne like finish. Dry with the slightest hint of sweetness.

Golden colour. Malty aroma with tones of hay. A bit malty flavor with big bitterness that comes sneaking up on you.

Crystal-clear with massive stark-white head. Light grassy aroma. Smooth crisp palate and tart wonderful flavor. Beautiful Teutonic quaff.

Not nearly asd nice as the other Spaten products. Not bad really, but by comarison to the crisp botterness of other German (or better yet, Czech) pilsners - just doesn't rate up there.

Smells hops and dirt. Creamy and a little spice. Small head. The slight hops make this warming. For the style, I was impressed.
