Feb 28, 2009 Golden color with a white head. Fresh, grassy and hoppy aroma. Nice round and light malty flavor. Perfectly balanced bitterness finishes off this classic pils from the great Spaten brewery.

Feb 8, 2009 light yellow with a frothy white head. Continued carbonation throughout.
smell is mostly of hops with a light citrus overtone.
Good balance of malt and hops with a nice bitter tone throughout that doesn’t overpower the beer as a whole.
The mouthfeel is a little heavy because of the carbonation, but it matches the overall effect of the beer pretty nicely.

Jan 31, 2009 Green bottle - preimium pilsener on the label. Pours a clear light gold with a 3 finger dense white head that leaves splotchy lacing. The nose is mildly sweet grains and pilz hops. Taste grass, sweet malt and light hops with a nice dry finish. Medium mouth feel. Good pilsener.

Jan 16, 2009 Bottle from Whole Foods. Pours gold with a healthy white head. Aroma of soft herbs, sugar, and grass. Palate is unexpectedly subdued, crisp but only moderately carbonated. Flavor is well-balanced and bright, with accents on esters, grain and fruit. Nice tasting pilsener.
