I had mine out of the bottle, and the head wasn’t great, but the lacing was perfect and the taste great! If these were cheaper, I would keep a keg in my frisge! woodfaery (2), Moon Township, Pennsylvania, USA does not count | 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 26, 2008 Tried this in a German Restaurant in Buffalo, NY. Love it. Reminded me of the beers I used to drink while stationed in Wiesbaden. Great flavor, aroma, color. Overall, one of my favorite German beers that are available in the US. It is gold with a medium white head that lasts decently well. The aroma is grain with a strong, sweet flowery element, hint of sulphur and crackers. The taste is light grain and malt with herbal hops and bitterness predominating, the hops really coming through int he herbal flavour and a long, lightly bitter herbal finish. This is nicely balanced by a sweetness and oily texture Braudog (3770), Dayton, Ohio, USA
