| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 2, 2008 Pours a clear deep golden color with a thin fizzy white head. Aroma is a sweet biscuity toffee malt with a little bit of overripe apple juice. The flavor has some caramel and toffee with a surprising amount of bitterness on the back end. Fruity with a slight touch of alcohol to it. A bit of spicy yeast to the flavor too. Medium body and leaves a nice bitter dryness on the tongue. TheCaptain (558), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA
