On tap at Alpenrose Mittenwald Bayern 25 Jun 07. Dark brown colored. Strong roasted malty aroma. A tanned, lasting head. Rich fruity aroma dominated by plums. Well rounded caramellish aftertaste. Sweet finish.

ON tap at Dublin Pub in Portland, OR--Poured a medium golden-yellow body with a small creamy white head. Nose of sweet toasted malts and butterscotch. Flavor was malty and sweet, but well balanced. Finished rich and smooth. Very good beer.

A light reddish brown, smells of hops, malt and roasted grain. Tastes initially of hops, malt, grain, and a bit of honey hit me in the middle and finish was very nice with malt left on my tongue till the end. Had this on tap at the Brau Haus in Hot Springs, AR.
