Quite good but not breathtaking. Robust reddish colour and lots of maltiness. Grainy and deep.

Nose of honey, some slight floral hops, bready and malty on the tongue, rather sweet, decent body.

Above average, but low for Spaten’s usual quality. Malty but not overly so, smooth and reasonable but good Bavarian beer is generally better than this.

Very clear golden color with a thick white head. Notes of caramel, honey, some hops. Medium body. Slight hoppiness in the flavor, otherwise bland.

Draft at MacGregor’s. Pale yellow pour with a very thin white head. Ultra sweet and malty aroma. The taste is very sweet and malty as well, almost a little sour. Slight hoppy bite at the finish.
