[At Fete de la Biere 2004, Lausanne] An orange beer with a fine though disappeaering white head. The aroma is very sweet with notes of caramel. The flavor is very hoppy and quite sweet, the end is dry hoppy. It is boring for the style though the body is powerful.

[Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm] Clear golden, fine head. Dominated by raisiny buttery malt. Firm with restrained sweetness and solid malty body. Grassy hops add some late bitterness. Styliosh.

On tap at JPDIPSO’s during the March 25th Milwaukee gathering: Pours a clear bright golden with a nicely-lacing frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, lightly toasted, and bready with a nice noble hoppiness and lager yeast character. Body starts with a sweet pale Munich maltiness nicely balanced with earthy bittering hops and a crisp bittersweet floral finish. A nice bock.

Draft. Light amber color with a dense white head. Sweet malt with a hint hops aroma. flavors in line with the aroma. Sweet doughy malt with enough hops to distract. Slightly grainy. A solid bock, but nothing overly complex.
