| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 27, 2009 A very nice IPA from Speakeasy. Golden-orange color with a small but thick white head. Nice sweet caramel malt backbone with typical citrusy west coast hop profile. Medium on the palate. Very well-balanced. I prefer their Prohibition ale to this by the slightest of margins. Poured a clear/slightly hazy gold/orange color with a thin white head. The aroma was grapefruit and pine...my favorite. The flavor had a good malt base, with a bitter citrus finish. This was a good beer.
