There was a ton of citrusy, hoppy goodness in this one, enough so that I thought it was a DIPA. The palate was smooth and held up the hops without bittering, only a bit. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 19, 2008 The pour was clear gold with a nice white head that produced good lacing. The aroma was lots of malt, light spice and very thin hops be they pine, floral or citrus. The flavor was very malt forward with some pine and floral hops cutting through along with some spice. Weird for a CA IPA to be so malt heavy. The mouthfeel was average and the finish was succinct. DTM (541), Winters, California, USA

I had to drink this one out of the bottle so not quite sure of the color. Smelled of citrus, mainly grapefruit. The palate was smooth with that citrus hop tasted backed up with a little bit of malt. Very good beer that I will drink again. TEJA (289), Stockholm, Sweden

Big white foam. Nice pale-golden colour. Loads of american hops aroma that also is present in the taste. The bitterness is not that big. Dry finnish for a nice IPA. Svesse (2657), Hässelby, Sweden

Fruity, hoppy nose with orange peel, mandarin and hints of pine needles. Very fresh. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of orange peel, mandarin and hints of toffee and caramel. Fresh initial sweetness turns drier towards a finish with citrussy, slightly piney hops. Very fresh and very nice. Zinister (1201), Houston, Texas, USA

Typcial citrus and fruit hop nose. Flavor is rich with grapefruit, sweet malt and tropical fruit flavors. Nice finish and good beer. plovmand (1713), Helsinge, Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 21, 2008 Bottle. Poured clear golden amber with a medium white head. NIce citric fruity aroma with grassy notes. Flavour is citric as well but with peaches and mango notes. A very refreshing IPA. RunDWP (203), San Jose, California, USA

Flavor is a great combination of some sweet malt, grapefruit and tropical fruits (do I taste pineapple?), and hop bitterness. Lots of sheeting action on the glass. Really like flavor complexity, balance and restraint with the hops.
