| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 28, 2008 Slightly cloudy golden pour with a thin white head. Aroma of piney, fruity hops. Good flavor of citrusy, piney hops, there’s also a mild malt presence. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and soft carbonation. Hugerat (432), somerville, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 18, 2008 Pours a pale, clear golden color with a good head, and plenty of lace. Really nice malt notes on the nose, peaches, apricots, and honey. Thin mouthfeel. Dry, grassy finish with slight pine resin hop flavor. I know it’s overdone, but I wouldn’t mind a healthy dose of cascade hops here to complete the "fruit salad" theme that started with the aroma. Still, a nice IPA. can8ianben (903), Pasadena, California, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 18, 2008 A lovely double IPA. Big and frothy hop aroma smacks you in the face. Sweet and sticky mouthfeel with a strong bitter finish. Loads of malt to balance out the bitterness, syrupy and pine rather than citrus. lovely. Rciesla (3617), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours a light orange yellow body with a thin white head. Aroma is hoppy; floral, sweet honey, grapefruit, and some earthy hops. Flavor is hoppy and then honey sweet. A good blend that took me a while to get into but a decent ipa. tronraner (1916), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2008 Bottle. Pours yellow orange with a swirl of yeast cloud and a small but long-lasting whitish head. The aroma is citrusy hops with a little bit of a sweet honey note. The flavor is melon and honey at first, with some earthy bitterness. The flavor lacks the citrus notes I get in the nose, but has a somewhat piney and herbal bitterness instead. General, dull bitterness. There’s an over-ripened fruit note that comes out once in a while that is a little bit offputting. Still, a clean and drinkable IPA. twitcher (293), framingham, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 11, 2008 bottle. Light, clear pale yellow color with a chunky bubbly head that clears away pretty quickly. Light aromas of cut grass and lemon zest with some heavy sweetness in the background. Flavor starts with a sharp, shallow bitterness, some citrus fruits and lightly spicy notes. Grainy toasted malts in the waaay background. Flavor comes off and lacking in depth or dimensions. Palate on the thin and watery side. MrBeerFanatic (358), jamestown, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 10, 2008 Pours golden/orange and a white head. Smells medium in strength of piney/citrus hops and caramel. The flavor is medium in strength of piney/citrus hops with a little malt backbone. Dry all the way through. Semi-sweet. Bitter end, but not too bitter. Decently balanced. Somewhat of a sticky lacing mouthfeel, but not pronounced. Clean finish. Not much of a hoppy aftertaste that lingers. Pretty good.
