| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours a light orange yellow body with a thin white head. Aroma is hoppy; floral, sweet honey, grapefruit, and some earthy hops. Flavor is hoppy and then honey sweet. A good blend that took me a while to get into but a decent ipa. tronraner (1934), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2008 Bottle. Pours yellow orange with a swirl of yeast cloud and a small but long-lasting whitish head. The aroma is citrusy hops with a little bit of a sweet honey note. The flavor is melon and honey at first, with some earthy bitterness. The flavor lacks the citrus notes I get in the nose, but has a somewhat piney and herbal bitterness instead. General, dull bitterness. There’s an over-ripened fruit note that comes out once in a while that is a little bit offputting. Still, a clean and drinkable IPA. twitcher (293), framingham, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 11, 2008 bottle. Light, clear pale yellow color with a chunky bubbly head that clears away pretty quickly. Light aromas of cut grass and lemon zest with some heavy sweetness in the background. Flavor starts with a sharp, shallow bitterness, some citrus fruits and lightly spicy notes. Grainy toasted malts in the waaay background. Flavor comes off and lacking in depth or dimensions. Palate on the thin and watery side. MrBeerFanatic (363), jamestown, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 10, 2008 Pours golden/orange and a white head. Smells medium in strength of piney/citrus hops and caramel. The flavor is medium in strength of piney/citrus hops with a little malt backbone. Dry all the way through. Semi-sweet. Bitter end, but not too bitter. Decently balanced. Somewhat of a sticky lacing mouthfeel, but not pronounced. Clean finish. Not much of a hoppy aftertaste that lingers. Pretty good. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 9, 2008 12oz bottle. Smelled of citrusy hops, caramel, pineapple, and pretzel. Poured a clear medium orange color. Head was thick, white, and shrank slowly to a tenacious bubbly film. Dry on the tongue with mild to moderate hop bitterness of about 4 out of 10. Citrus fruit dominated the flavor, but there was some cowering biscuity malt in the background. Light to medium bodied. Decent. Aquilo (275), California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 9, 2008 Orange-blond with a thick white head. Very orange-y aroma, with some floral hops as well. It’s not completely dry. There’s just enough sweetness to go with the citrus flavor. The hops are mild and grassy to the taste. Mouthfeel is creamy. A very nice and drinkable IPA. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 6, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, light, pale copper body with a small, fizzy, white head.
Smell: Candyish caramel and biscuity malts set against fruity notes of sweet, juicy nectarines and grapefruits.
Taste: Pale malts with a light toastiness and caramel sweetness. Pinch of fresh spices. Citrusy hop character with a medium bitterness. Small taste of grapefruit on the lightly bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Nothing more than a fairly easy to drink, standard American IPA. And there’s nothing at all wrong with that. chicagodri (1063), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 3, 2008 Pours a clear gold with a smaller white head. Aroma is mainly citrus hops, not overpowering by any means. Flavor is mild, little bit of citrus and some pine with some caramel malt. Very average, was hoping for something with a little more power.
