Bottle at Thrash Zone. Nice head on this orange brew. Citrus, grapefruit, fruit, and some earth aroma. Solid body with refreshing carbonation. Citrus, lemon, biscuit, malty, and some pine in the flavor. Has a lingering bitter finish. A real nice IPA, could down a few of these at the pub. Homebrewerguy (284), Oil City, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 31, 2008 Pretty standard AIPA, pours cloudy because of the unfiltered yeast (in an IPA???) thin body, little head but decent lacing, minimal carbonation, flavor and aroma is dominated by the hop profile with little to balance it, just another run-of-the-mill "Premium" beer so prevalent these days. Pours a cloudy rich yellow with a appetizing orange citrus and flowery aroma. Slightly thin start to the flavour. Pretty standard IPA profile, finishes strong with a building orange-grapefruit bitterness. Tasty, if not exceptional. Solid IPA. mgermani (865), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jan 27, 2008 Pours a beautiful slightly hazy gold with a small soapy head and great lacing. Aroma is sweet, reminds me of sweet and sour sauce, and fresh hop flowers. Taste is similar - plenty of malty goodness; it tastes so transparent, like it’s fresh from the kettle, cooled, force-carbonated, and served up with no aging or bottle conditioning. The downside is that it’s not terribly complex, and most of the hops are flavouring and it sweetens up in the finish. I’m not saying that’s alltogether bad, but this IPA lacks a bit of bite, is all. Body is perfect - great carbonation, creamy and thick, very very satisfying. I could drink this beer ALL DAY. Thanks to Gerry for working so hard to bring this bad boy in - good luck on the Double Daddy! Marc (477), Yokosuka, Japan
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 26, 2008 Slightly opalescent yellow with a rocky head. Citrus, lemons, caramel and a little tea in the nose. Solid grapefruit bitterness with a little lemon zest. Malts are bready and fresh. Finishes balanced with grain and more grapefruit bitterness that stays on for a while. 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 16, 2008 Solid IPA. Pours and looks like your typical IPA. Has a nice floral hoppy aroma and flavor to it. Finish was certainly dry and I found myslef gulping thin one. BillKismet (1944), Seattle, Washington, USA

Appearance did not prepare my senses for the onslaught of hop aroma and flavor in this potent IPA. Wonderful, brazen flush of chinook and cascades with excellent bitterness profile. A sapid and quaffable IPA. fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

Medium aroma strength, hops, cream. Better flavor, some sweet malt and a lot of toffee, with a strong hopping, a bit resiny; quite good body structure. Long and powerful, but balanced, final.
