Pours hazy orange. Resiny green hop aroma with tones of grapefruit, pine and apricot. Malty tones of syrup and caramel. A bit nutty and floral as well. Very clean nose. Well balanced hop flavour with tones of citrus, grapefruit and a floral touch. Nice caramel malt backbone. Medium bitter with a rather elegant dry finish. Clean, medium body.

Light colored for an IPA. Frothed up well and had a pretty big head. Grainy and bready scent with a healthy dose of piny and floral hop mixture. The finish was less hoppy than the nose and initial flavor, but overall, a very enjoyable NoCal IPA. Yum!

Bottle: Pale golden, quite clear, moderate rocky eggshell colored head, fairly nice lacing, no noticeable carbonation.   Grassy hop nose, slight cereal.   Very slight citrus peel and whole wheat bread.   Soft hop bitterness on the tongue, accompanied by some cereal like malts.   Grainy, soft, but not bitter.   Not as sharp or robust as others.   Well balanced, but on the lighter side of IPAs given that this is a West Coast IPA.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Lacks really any decent hop presense on the finish.   Only lingering cereal like flavors linger.   Tiz okay, but its too grainy/earthy malt oriented without a larger hop bite.

On sale at Garden Fresh Market for $3.99 a 6 pack, a good way for me to get acquainted with a beer that’s new to me. Somewhat cloudy light amber color, nice floral/citrus/hoppy aroma, zesty but not overly aggressive hoppy flavor, malt presence edged out somewhat by the hops. This is a beer that seems rather workaday at first but impresses more each time you have one. "Painted" bottle sure to be of interest to breweriana types.

A perfectly balanced IPA. Too often brewers overdo this style and make it too hoppy without any other element. This balances malt and hops how it should be. Aroma smelled like yardwork. Strong grass and pine. Pour was a dark gold color with a one finger head. Taste was grassy hops and earth that gave way to malt after the swallow. Only nitpick is that there was not much carbonation. Still nice beer from this brewer I never heard of.

Pours a hazy orange with a thin white head. Smells of citrus, pine resin, dough and some biscuity malt. Tastes lightly bitter with a modest citrus presence atop a malty backdrop. Not bad.

Very dry, refreshing, crisp. Floral hops, light in body, earthy notes. Very drinkable. As with all beers, could be richer, and hoppier, but this beer is fairly balanced.
