Clear golden colour. Fresh, resiny, bit nutty hops in aroma. Good malt/hop balance in flavour with fresh, almost tea-like hops. Very much tea here. Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 1, 2007 (On tap) Clear, fully golden with a white head. Lovely, citric and fat hop aroma. Medium body with rather sweet malts but at the same time an incredibly clean malt profile perfectly balanced by the fresh, grapefruitish aroma hops. A very harmonious IPA. 230307 thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 1, 2007 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy fine to medium sized bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a slightly hazy typically carbonated dark orange colored body and a fair lacing. . The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again. gunnfryd (3601), Kristiansand, Norway

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 26, 2007 12oz bottle via trade with Larry Pitonka. Aroma: Light bready malt, big grapefruit, pine, and resin hop aroma. Some floral hop notes as it warms. Appearance: Medium golden in color and clear. Off-white head was full and foamy with good retention. Nice lacing. Flavor: Light bready malt with a touch of honey. Hops kick in strong with Pine, citrus (lemon and grapefruit), resin, and floral. Medium high bitterness and a nice dry finish. Palate: Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Overall: Great IPA. For a West Coast IPA, it’s very drinkable. NachlamSie (1644), Tennessee, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 23, 2007 bottle courtesy of Erik. Pours a hazy copper with a small white head. Ah, gotta love these true west coast IPA’s even if just for the aroma alone. There’s a fresh, zesty blast to my nose of citrus and pine with just a bit of caramel. The flavor is mostly acidic, though not that aggressive, with sweeter hints of caramel and pine intertwined. The finish is mildly drying with herbal flavors and the palate is just medium. This is a standard west coast IPA, I would expect nothing less than this offering. Solid.
