| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 14, 2009 This rating is for the wet hop version. On tap courtesy of bellportbeer. Pours a crystal clear light gold with a thin-moderate yellow-white head that quickly faded and left light lace. The aroma is filled with lots of fruity grapefruit. The flavor is malt up front followed by a very solid dose of bitter hops grapefruit along with some pine. Although bitter, there is enough fruit flavor to keep the bitterness from being excessive. Nice crisp, dry, bitter finish. Enjoyable. aaronbr (59), Palo Alto, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 13, 2009 A little soapy on the nose, but still some good hoppy notes. Color is a slightly foggy golden brown. Taste is really interesting. Not very bitter at all, but a sort of tinge of butterscotch. It’s good. It seems like a fairly lightweight IPA. baraciisch (156), USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 11, 2009 Clear yellow in color... Aroma is slightly spicy and citrus hops... Flavor is crisp and malty like a pale ale with a nice bitter finish... Decent beer, cooler bottle. TeamTrappist (419), jericho, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 8, 2009 Bottle. Poured a medium amber with a thin head. Hoppy yeasty nose. Very malty for an ipa. Light hop flavors but possibly overbalanced? Dry bitter finish. A season beer. harrisoni (6947), Ashford, Kent, England

Diacetyl on aroma. Too buttery for me. Poor, ok hops but spoilt by the butterscotch. 2.4/5 Re rate bottle from Utobeer. No diacetyl on this one and some good turkish delight fruit. Decent hop aroma. Fine pale malts in mouth, but the finish is the best thing here. Some decent hop sting and reasonable flavour, but love that slightly rose petal fruit turkish delight flavour maeib (4775), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 27, 2009 Bottled. A clear gold coloured beer with a nice white head and good lacing. The aroma is strongly hoppy. Sunshiney citrus notes in the nose with lemon juice and grapefruit. Seems a little artificial on the nose to be honest. Pretty bitter in the mouth with sharp grapefruit and parma violets. Lighter malt levels than is usual from a US IPA but at least that means the crystal levels are nil. Good in places but ultimately only average. robforbes (1114), Bremerton, Washington, USA
