Nice pine/grapefruit aroma, makes the mouth water. nice hop bite, smooths out to a smooth citrus with no lasting bitterness. A really great IPA.

Pours a slightly hazy golden with an average white lacing and retaining head. Aroma of pine, citrus and floral with a nice malty balance. Flavor is more along the lines of a piney, lightly bitter hop. A tad bit on the watery side. But still a very nice IPA.

Big Daddy is a one of the easiest drinking IPA’s I’ve had. Wonderfully aroma of citrus and pine greet the nose, the color is a pale amber. A found the taste full of fruity west coast hops. I would still prefer a beer of more complexity, but I enjoyed this beer immensely due to it’s ease of drinking.

Pours a golden color out of a 12oz bottle with long lasting head. I like my IPAs with slighter darker appearance but what this beer lacks in color it makes up for in aroma. The hops kick you in the face with citrus notes and a touch of musk. The flavor is wonderfully dry and bitter. It could use a touch more malt but overall a great beer with a great label.

Pours a nice amber color. Aromas of floral/hops/citrus. Strong hop flavors in the middle with malts and a spicy finish.

Good beer, but it was unfortunately tasted immediately after a Two-Hearted, so this definitely came out on the short end of the stick. Anyway, this is a tasty, borderline session IPA with a delightful hop profile, it just comes up short in the boldness department.

(02.04.06) 12 oz brown bottle purchased from RFD Washington, Washington, D.C. Clear yellow hued ale having a small white head. No discernable carbonation. Hoppy aroma. Medium bodied ale that starts dry with tiny malt sweetness. Light hop flavor that dissipates quickly in the middle. Finishes dry with light hop bitterness. A good drinkable IPA.
