Dec 28, 2005 From the bottle, pours a hazy golden with a white foamy head. Nice lacing and head resiliency. Aromas of light hops, flowers, chocolate malts. Smells darker than it looks. Tastes lightly bitter, hoppy, but not overly so. Just a hint of some fruits and citrus, and some backyard grass at the end. Really does finish clean without much aftertaste. This is a good one.

Dec 28, 2005 On tap at "Fly Bar" in San Francisco, (Divisidero and Oak) CA. pours a deep golden-body with a white marshmellow fluff head that dissipates progressively. lacing is thick and grainy. smells of toasted oats and mild citrus. tastes of roasted malts, grapefruit, pine hops and some assorted nuts. fully flavored yet light on the palate. "hella good."

Dec 26, 2005 Bottle (12oz). Poured bubbly pale gold with a small fizzy white head. Mild aroma of mild oily hops, vague somewhat roasty-sweet malt, off-dry Riesling, loam - pretty mild for an IPA. Taste is pretty disappointing - hint of grainy hops, sort of sweet; thin body.

Dec 26, 2005 Pours a light yellowish golden color with a small white head. Aroma is centered on hops and pine needles. Flavor has that ’West Coast IPA’ flavor to it centering on hops,citrus, and pine needles. Above average ipa.

Dec 25, 2005 Pours golden yellow with billowing light head. Nose is hoppy and citrusy. Flavor continues with cirtus character and maintains a smooth mouthfeel. Very clean finish.

Dec 25, 2005 A solid, standard IPA. Long-lasting, foamy head atop golden leaning toward orange body. Aroma of grapefruit and orange. Flavor also filled with citrus especially grapefruit. Light on the bitterness. Clean, crisp finish with no lingering bitterness.

Dec 19, 2005 Dec. 19, 2005; 12 oz. bottle: I like this brew -- and brewery -- a lot. Citrusy, piney and hoppy -- but remarkably light in both color and texture. It may take some liberties with the style, but this is an IPA I wouldn’t mind drinking all summer.

Dec 15, 2005 Poured light golden with a thin white head. Aroma had citrus, graitfruit, casade hops and a bit of peach. Taste was more sweet then hoppy. Good, but I’ve had many better IPAS.
