Big, fruity, pine and citrus hop aroma. Well balanced flavor, good all around though nothing about it was really outstanding.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 17, 2009 Poured out a crazy ammount of off-white not-quite smooth head that has faded but is retained well. Some sticky, messy lacing. Nice orange colour with lots (too much) of fine sediment. The aroma is quite nice and refreshing but not unlike other IPA of this ilk. Lots of citrus (mainly grapefruit and lemon), pine (not sharp), caramel malts...well rounded indeed. Taste is pretty good but a touch weak as I was looking for something a bit more stiff. Still, there is no lack of citrus but the malts are too muted. Candylike qualities are ok and maybe to obvious. Nears medium bodied. Nice carbonation but not ultra smooth like its peers. Soft mouthfeel. Finishes nicely with some piney bitterness. A good drinking beer indeed. shawnm213 (935), South Bend, Indiana, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 10, 2009 "Yellowy to light brown body two inch fluffy cap with tons of carbonation, lots of roapy lacing is left behind with every sip. Beer would have done better except the color seems wonky. Brew has the normal in your face grape fruit hops but the malts seem different they seem wheaty and lighter than normal. Aroma is different so I like that but it’s not all that great. Taste has a very nice hop presence without being overly bitter. Sweet grape fruit hops are well balanced with richly flavored malts. The malts is slightly earthy and don’t have the same wheat quality they had in the aroma. After taste mildly bitter and had a smoke like quality. Diffently not the best IPA I’ve ever had but it will do, it’s not over top hoped making it very easy to drink and sometimes that’s what I want. " Grovlam (3809), Copenhagen, Denmark

Bitter floral dry finish. blklab2007 (962), Connecticut, USA
