Pours with a small, foamy, white head covering a clear, orange body. Aroma of grapefruit with lots of malts (biscut and chocolate). Taste is malty, but an easy to drink DIPA/IIPA. I would have enjoyed, a bit more sweetness, and a larger hop profile, but this is good for someone who is unfamiliar with lots of hops. Syrupy mouthfeel with light bubbles.

Enjoyed this one @ Thrash Zone, Yokohama, Japan. Gorgeous clear amber with a fluffy head. Slight nose of pine wrapped in banana peels.. Mouthfeel is super smooth and without a doubt far more smooth than the bottled version. Lots of hops present in the taste, somewhat aggressive but working well with the malts. Everybody wins. Tingle on the tongue of alcohol and hop bitterness with an outstanding finish that lasts and lasts.

From a bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with whitre head. Aromas of floral hops and grapefruit. big floral hops, citrus, caramel, and some soapy flavor. Alcohol is well hidden. Not alot of balance between malt and hops but thats how I like my IIPAs.

Draught at Capone’s: Aroma of floral hops and grapefruit. Poured amber in color with a medium-sized, creamy, white head that lasted throughout. Hazy. Medium-sized lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of hops, caramel malts, grapefruit, and Cascades. Medium body. Slightly sticky texture. Average carbonation. Hoppy, dry finish.

Bottle. Cloudy, deep golden-amber color with frothy, white head. Nice lacing. Pine & citruis hop aroma with muted cake-ey notes. Flavour is same as aroma, and alcohol is hidden very well. A bit weak in the hop dept. for a double, IMO, but it makes a nice, strong IPA.

Bottle, courtesy illiturdit. Pours a hazy yellowish amber, with a big white fluffy head. Thick gobs of lacing remain on the glass. Big piney hop aroma, grapefruit, some acidic citrus? Distant caramel, big floral esters overall. Creamy malty flavors up front. The hops are surprisingly distant, but come through in the finish. Vanilla and caramel on the tongue. Medium-bodied, and a smooth mouthfeel. Thanks a LOT skunk

Bottle. Pours a hazy dark golden color with one finger head that sticks around. Nose is nice - citrus, pine and sweet malts. Palate doesn’t really live up to the nose. Mostly mild resin and a slight bitter hops finish. Medium mouth feel and nice lacing. Not a bad brew, but I had higher hopes for it.

Thick amber with okay head and no real lacing. Smell is pretty good - malty and some hops but not fabulous. Flavor is more alcohol malt than hops. A bit soapy and gritty. Not much depth to it. Alcohol is more present in the flavor than I wanted. Finish is malty and alcohol. There is a hint of burning dirt; it has an earthiness to it.
