This is exactly what a IIPA should taste like. Agressive hop flavor with a nice balance between bitter and sweet. Maybe a little less agressive than some IIPAs, but this one comes off well balanced wiith hop presence you cant miss.

Cool looking bottle with the eyes on the neck. Pours amber/orange with a medium white head. Starts off promising with a nice mix of citrus aroma with some sweet caramel as well. Aroma is not overpowering. Taste is more of the same, the malt is a little more noticable as it warms and the bittneress fades quickly. The finish is fruity and malty. A little acidic and you can sense the 9.5%. This is good, but I was hoping for more bitterness.

Bottle. Rich amber beer with a thin off-white head. Grapefruit and pine aroma, but not that strong. Resiny pine and grapefruit flavor with some caramel. Bitterness fades a bit too quickly. Alcohol slightly noticeable. Very drinkable for its abv.

Oh, this is nice. They brough in a mini-keg to our little tasting. Awesome! Nothing but hops throughout this baby. I could drink this all the time. Notice the low overall given the other scores. Well, I had a headache the next morning from this guy and I almost never do from beer. So be careful.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 10 Aug) Colour is pale amber with little head. Nose is fruity and hoppy with apricots, grapefruit and blood oranges. Taste is fruity and serioulsy hoppy with grapefruit, blood oranges, more grapefruit, dried apricots, pine needles and hints of nuts. Hoppy, grapefruity finish. Some sweetness, but well balanced. Alcohol well hidden. A bit one dimensional, but the hops are great.

Bottle... This one has west coast written all over it. Clear amber ale with an orange tint and a small, fizzy, white head. Big caramel, pineapple, grapefruit and pine aroma with a hint of mango. Big malt and big hops compose the flavor as well. The alcohol is very well-hidden although there is just a little bitterness provided by it. Full-bodied and creamy with lively carbonation. Lengthy, astringent, moderately bitter finish. Grassy at the wee end (hexanal, heptanal or an unGodly abundance of cascades, not sure). Thanks go out to tever for shipping this bottle my way!

More intense and sticky than I was expecting. The alcohol and hops sort of hit you over the head and obscure everything else. Smells incredible, though -- almost instantly after opening this great hop aroma came through. My friend smelled it from about five feet away. I’d rather drink the Big Daddy.

Bottle (12oz). Hazy orange, decent frothy lasting beige head. Juicy, citrus/resin hop aroma, alcohol is well hidden, very fresh and mouthwatering, not overpowering at all. Taste is a little overpowering, big hit of alcohol and resin hops, sweet malt backing, but mostly hops and booze. Solid body, acidic and astringent, long boozy finish, nicely carbonated. Just a solid I2PA, would drink this a lot.
