12 oz bottle. Clear orange color. White head left a thick lace. Smelled of molasses, toffee, caramel, and fruity hops. Flavor, although similar to the aroma, was less inspiring with the addition of alcohol. Not the best IIPA.

Pours like a new copper penny w/ a medium sized, short lived, creamy froth. Aromas of strict lime rind, grapefruit, and sweet malt. Full nectar w/ soft residual effers. Flavors: this is a malt bomb w/ a defined sweetness. Honey, caramel, cherry fruit, pine, grapefruit, wood. The finish is sweet w/ an asprin touch. Alcohol is undetectable. Although there is an overlying sweetness, the overall flavors are somewhat balanced. Overall: a dessert style.

Bottle at Immy’s Tasting on 7-22-06. Amber bodied. Nose is hops, sweet malts, caramel, and citrus fruit. Taste is sweet malts, hops, caramel, and heaps of citrus fruits. Body is chewy, resinous, oily and medium-full. Finishes with more sweet malts, citrus fruits and hops.

Mine had relatively no head, but a beautiful amber color. Creamy, hoppy, smooth molassas. I like this one. Enjoyed it at Immy’s Tasting.

12 oz screen printed bottle. Nice looking IPA clear amber, with a nice thick frothy off white head. Aroma very spicy hoppy, with a slight strange aroma of what can only be described as "barnyard"..odd. Good strong bready,semi-bitter thick maltiness to start, then it thins out and the hops take OVER, more spruce like than citric. Ok on the palate but it does start to become cloying..alcohol present but mostly hidden. An OK DIPA..nothing like as good as Great Divide Hercules..but not bad.
