This beer is like drinking IPA from a coated pill. Its got this strange (but good) insta aftertaste that reminds me of sugary coating on a tylenol.

Bottle at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. A pale orange beer with a firm white foam. Dry aroma of grapefruit and crackers with a sticky sweet undertone of apricot. Bitter flavour of grapefruit and resin with sugary tones of candied oranges. Full bodied with a slick mouthfeel. Bitter orangey and grapefruity aftertaste.

All in. And the flop comes DDeez nutz. Winner! Hazy, orange/gold pour with a small, off white head. Nose of big time pine resin, sugary, bittersweet grapefruit juice, and some floral notes. Same flavors, very strong hops with just enough malt. Medium/full, syrupy, resinous palate with enough carbonation to keep it balanced. Not too easy to drink, but not too difficult either. Excellent IIPA.

Big floral hop aroma, with bitter orange and pine resin flavors, somewhat subdued for an IIPA. Crisp, light maltiness. Lots of bitterness, mouth-coating dryness afterwards with a lasting sweet, caramel malt flavor. Like the Bell’s Two Hearted of IIPAs, an easy-drinker.

12oz bottle-thanks to Wohlfs for this one. Clear bright orange with a froathy soapy white head. notes is wonderful-mostly floral hops, grapefruit, pine and lemony. flavors are mostly hops-citric to start with a stiff bitter finish of pine and grapefruit. not much malt to speak of here, leading it to be a hop bomb. body is medium with light carbonation for the style. alcohol comes out more as the beer warmed. not very well balanced and/or exciting for a IIPA.

An extremely seductive and drinkable IIPA. Pours an amber/orange with a decent creamy white head. Very fruity and well balanced hop aromas. Grapefruit, apricots, tropical fruits, slightly flowery. A dangerously high alcohol, yet very quaffable beer.

Nice golden amber with just a touch of orange. Light creamy head [didn’t last too long though] lace down the side was not super thick, but present. Smell, somewhat hoppy/grassy, nice but not exceptional. Good ipa taste.. strong, but not over noticeable alcoholic [but could certainly feel the affects afterwards. Nice beer a little expensive, but would like to keep in my rotation

Thanks to tannertavernboys for sharing. The aroma on this thing is fantastic - lots of floral / citrus hops with some rich caramel undertones. Pours a clear golden color with a white rocky head. The mouthfeel is lighter than expected and very with very low carbonation. There is a light hoppy taste at the at the beginning with the finish being very piney and sour. Didn’t expect that from the aroma. The finish also had a bit of prickliness, probably from the piney aspects. This was a good beer, but as far as IIPAs goes it doesn’t rank at the top. I will have to have again at a later date.
