Sample at February 27, 2009 beer club meeting. Cloudy orange with a thin, cream-colored head. Sweet hop aroma with great hop flavor. Malt characteristics are a great touch... hits right at the tonsils. Almost creamy mouthfeel. A hearty I2PA!

Had on draft at Yard House in Las Vegas. Big time hop aroma with a pretty nice balance of hops and malt. Big tasting beer. Long, drawn out finish, reminds you that you drank it long afterwards. Overall, very nice.

Draft @ Toronado,SF. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a malty hoppy aroma with hints of grapefruit. Sweetish malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Has a sweetish malty hoppy biter finish with a long bitter aftertaste.

On tap at Uber Tavern. Pours golden, slightly orange, with a big foamy head. Aroma is incredible- grapefruit and pine along with caramel and pineapple. Taste is much the same, but the hop presence is surprisingly subdued. Finish is citrusy and a bit short.

Pours a beautiful medium honey color, small off-white head, low CO2. The nose is huge hops and citrus. First sip - refreshing, watery and then bitterness - like fresh squeezed grapefruit. As the beer warms scents of fresh cut grass, spring flowers, light buttery carmels, and high notes of urine come through. 7/4/7/4/16

Clear amber with nice head. Strong hoppy floral aroma of pines, citrus and caramel. Some spices develops in mouth. Flavour is sweet and bitter, with strong bitter finish. Well I am glad i know where to get more :-)

Bottle, poured a cloudy medium amber. Found the nose strange, cotton candy and diesel, not too enticing sounding is it? But the flavor didn’t follow that nose. This is fairly well balanced with both big hops and strong malt, but I found the flavor to be a bit off for my taste. Some what astringent, and almost tasted asparagus like. Finish was mildly bitter. Maybe I got a bad bottle?

12oz bottle received in a trade with Taverner - thanks. Light copper/orange finish with a few floaties in there - very nice flowery and hoppy nose that carried through to the taste. Bitter and a bit sweet. Smooth on the toungue - a very enjoyable beer.
