This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma was malty and sweet with some citrus and grapefruity hops. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. Lots of orange and peaches. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Surprisingly light in body, not much malt. Fruit and citrus notes from the good aroma hops that also leave a solid bitterness. 100709 yespr (12025), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 16, 2009 Cask at the brewer for RBSG09. Hazy gold with a sticky head. Big and sweet, juicy hop aroma of grapefruit, tangerine, and nectarine. The flavor is sweet with lots of juicy citrus hop flavor and modest bitterness. Medium bodied with not too much carbonation, but more than you might expect from cask. This is honestly just too sweet for an IPA, but the dry hopping made for a great aroma. In a smaller dose, this was fine, but not the kind of beer I would want to drink a lot of. IrishBoy (2709), Bakersfield, California, USA
