Sep 20, 2009 Sampled during RBSG 7/10/2009 on tap at the brewery. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrusy and grapefruity. Medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet, a touch citrusy. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy, A big ole’ doze of hops in this one… lots of cascades and glaciers. Hides the alcohol well. Nice carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is bitter.

Jul 30, 2009 On tap. Clear golden with a rough, off-white head. Very fresh, piney nose. Medium body, sweetish fruit and a little caramel with a distinct alcoholic finish where also the solid hoppiness appears. 100709

Jul 25, 2009 From tap at the brewery. Pours hazy orange with a bubbly white head. Aroma is mild fruity and spiced. Sweet fruity, tea like hoppy and with an intensely growing hops oily and bitter flavour coming through. Dry and teaish flavoured finish. Bitterness kills off your tastebuds.

a love it or hate beer, I happened to like it, hoppy yet sweet, I thought it was pretty tasty.

Jul 16, 2009 Draught at the brewery during RBSG09. Gold-orange with a white head. Interesting ho aroma that is spicy and minty with a cake-frosting sweetness. Sweet malt flavors with hop flavors of grapefruit, mint and pine, finishing bitter. Medium bodied. A sweet DIPA, but the huge hop charge in this made it a little better than the regular version. I thought the hops were unique and interesting, though others seemed to think they were just wrong.

Jul 15, 2009 Draft at the brewery RBSG! Nose of ivy and piney hoppiness. Gold with a medium off white head. Flavor was vegetal with some light bitterness.

Jul 14, 2009 Pours pale amber with a white thick head. Nose is decent with citrus rind and subtle caramel malt. The flavor goes way vegital and a bit of what may have been tea. Speakeasy was great to us at the RBSG SF, and I like most of their beers, but I couldn’t drink even the 3-4 ounces I was poured of this one.
